Where can I park my car?

You can park your car on the Schärer Holzbau AG site. 
There will be traffic wardens on site to guide you. 

Entry fees vary from race to race. 

Payment is due when you collect your race number on the day of the event. We accept TWINT, card and cash. 

  • Adults (aged 16 and over): 10 francs
  • Children (aged 10 and over): 5 francs
  • Children under 10 go free 
  • Adults (aged 16 and over): 15 francs
  • Children (aged 10 and over): 10 francs
  • Children under 10 go free 
  • Adults (aged 16 and over): 20 francs
  • Children (aged 10 and over): 15 francs
  • Children under 10 go free 

Portable toilets are available at the start and finish areas.  
Unfortunately, it is not possible to take a shower. 

There is a food and drink stall in operation in the start and finish area. 

On the middle and long-distance routes, water is provided at 5-kilometre intervals. 

The Bleienbachstrasse between Langenthal and Bleienbach and the Thunstettenstrasse between Bleienbach and Thunstetten will be completely closed on 1 August 2027 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. A diversion will be signposted on site. 

All other rouads will be closed briefly from time to time while participants are crossing. 

We recommend travelling by public transport. 
The Langenthal, Dennli bus stop or Langenthal Süd railway station are located near the event venue. 
If you wish to travel by car, you can park on the premises of Schär Holzbau AG. 

The route maps show the locations of the commercial stalls, the water points and the start and finish areas. 

In general, the roads are closed. Upon presentation of an address, individual vehicles are permitted to pass through the cordoned-off area to their homes, accompanied by a traffic control officer.  

When you register, you can specify whether you want your time to be recorded or not.   

The finish area and the refreshment stand will be open from 10 am. All participants, as well as spectators and local residents, are welcome to stop by the refreshment stand. 

Children are very welcome along the route. In the finish area, childcare is available for children whose parents are taking part in the race. A temporary playground will also be set up. 

There are no power sockets available at the locations where the market stalls are situated. 

Yes, erecting temporary structures such as tents is permitted. However, we ask that you leave the site in the same condition as you found it after the event. 

If you don’t wish to run a stall at the event but would still like to be visible during the event, sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please feel free to get in touch with us via the contact form to discuss this. 

There is a schedule, but it is still provisional at this stage. The final schedule will be published once the registration deadline has passed on 1 July 2027.

You can register for the race using the registration form until 1 July 2027. 

Yes, in principle, that’s correct. The organising committee monitors weather conditions continuously before and during the event and would decide whether to go ahead with or cancel the races should any weather warnings be issued.
